DFD Russell Medical Centers (DFD) is pleased to announce the addition of board-certified adult-gerontology nurse practitioner Bridget Ross-Fitzgibbons, AGNP-C, to the DFD team. Bridget practices a comprehensive style of healthcare, partnering with her patients to create individualized care plans that respect patients’ wishes and specific situations.
Bridget attended Regis College, where she received her master’s degree in Nursing. She holds a BS in Nursing from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. Bridget is currently board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, where she is also a member. In addition, she teaches graduate students in nursing at Regis College, her alma mater.
“Listening to patients is key,” said Bridget. Taking the time to listen, explain, and understand care issues brings about better care and better outcomes, she believes. “My role is to help my patients get the best care and always be their advocate … I believe that care should always be individualized and patient-focused.”
A nurse practitioner for more than a decade, Bridget comes to DFD from Genesis Physician Services in North Conway, New Hampshire.
