Annamarie Pond, D.O.
Annamarie Pond, D.O., joined DFD Russell Medical Centers’ Bridgton location in July 2021. Dr. Pond earned her undergraduate degree magna cum laude in psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she was a Commonwealth Scholar and in an Honors Research Fellowship. Later, she earned her doctorate degree in osteopathic medicine at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.
Additionally, Dr. Pond has extensive teaching experience at the University of New England, Tufts University School of Medicine and as the Resident Physician with the Family Residency Program at Central Maine Medical Center teaching third- and fourth-year medical students. She also has international medical experience with the Himalayan Health Exchange in India.
Dr. Pond joins DFD from Stephens Memorial Hospital of Maine Health in Norway, Maine. Her background is in outpatient family medicine, treating all ages from newborns to elder patients. She brings authenticity and compassion to her patients and actively listens, guides, and motivates them to reach their goals.
