Psyciatric Mental Health NP – Leeds

DFD Russell Medical Centers operates three community health centers in central Maine. We are seeking a full-time PMHNP, for our Leeds location.

Our three health centers serve a multicultural, rural population of about 10,000 patients and have a family practice focus serving pediatrics to geriatrics. We have integrated behavioral health, care managers, a patient assistance coordinator and an excellent clinical support staff.

This position requires a high degree of flexibility, good clinical skills and commitment to team work and open lines of communication. The clinician will be responsible for:

  • Making an assessment of mental health needs for children or adults
  • Diagnosing mental health/psychiatric conditions
  • Developing and executing treatment plans
  • Providing primary health care
  • Prescribing medication (Suboxone waiver, required)

It is a full-time at 4 days per week.

Medical Assistant – All Locations

DFD Russell Medical Centers operates three community health centers in central Maine. We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant.

Our three health centers serve a multicultural, rural population of about 10,000 patients and have a family practice focus serving pediatrics to geriatrics. We have integrated behavioral health, care managers, a patient assistance coordinator and an excellent clinical support staff.

Medical Assistants are responsible for performing a variety of duties in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting physicians with patient care and handling clerical, environmental and organizational tasks. Our staff is cross trained to handle all aspects of patient care so we are looking for a self-motivated M.A. that is interested in providing the best possible healthcare to our patients.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to project a pleasant and professional image even under stressful situations
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others
  • Ability to organize and accomplish multiple tasks and to have the flexibility to meet changing demands on a daily basis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff
  • Knowledge of healthcare field and medical office protocols/procedures
  • Skill in performing medical assistance tasks appropriately
  • Minimum one year experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant and/or documented evidence of externship completed in a medical office
  • Current BLS required or must be obtained within 3 months from start of employment
  • All newly hired Medical Assistants must have a certificate from an accredited vocational institution, or community college to indicate completion of courses in Medical Assisting. National Certification or eligibility to take the exam is Required.

DFD Russell Medical Centers (DFDRMC) operates three community health centers in central Maine.  We are seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to work between our locations.

 

Our three health centers serve a multicultural, rural population of about 10,000 patients and have a family practice focus serving pediatrics to geriatrics. We have integrated behavioral health, care managers, a patient assistance coordinator and an excellent clinical support staff.

Phlebotomists are responsible for performing specimen collection and processing, tracking, ordering, and other laboratory tasks. Our staff is cross-trained in many aspects of patient care so we are looking for a self-motivated Phlebotomist that is interested in providing the best possible healthcare to our patients.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to project a pleasant and professional image even under stressful situations
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others

Medical Secretaries are responsible for performing a variety of daily tasks from checking patients in and out, collecting and processing payments, faxing, scanning, scheduling appointments, etc. Our staff is cross-trained to handle many aspects of patient care so we are looking for a self-motivated Medical Secretary that is interested in providing the best possible healthcare to our patients.
