Gary Rivard, D.O.

Gary Rivard, D.O., joined DFD Russell Medical Centers’ Turner location in 2017 as medical director. Dr. Rivard earned his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a fellowship in academic medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a fellowship in executive leadership through the Hanley Foundation. Board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Osteopathic Family Medicine, Dr. Rivard brings with him a wealth of diverse experience in family medicine. Dr. Rivard specializes in chronic disease management, musculoskeletal medicine, and contraceptive care. He is skilled at patient education and strives to engage patients and families so that they may have a clear understanding of their health issues and/or the rationale behind treatment options.
